Pista Kulfi

Incredients: 2tbsps M.V.M Corn Flour, Milk 500ml (2 1/2 cups), Sugar 1 1/4 cups, Cream (Malai) 1/2 cups, Almonds & Pistas 2tbsps, Cardamom & Nutmes 1\2 tsp, Rose essence.

Preparation: Boil milk till reduced to three-fourths. Mix cornflour with quarter cup milk and gradually add to the boiling milk. Add the sugar and nuts and cook for another two minutes. Remove from the fire, cool and add the beaten fresh cream & the flavouring. Beat the whole mixture again together and fill in Kulfi moulds or in a flat box. Keep covered.

Chicken Mangoos

Incredients: 1/2 cup M.V.M Corn Flour, 1 medium tender coconut, 1 Big lime, 2tsps Ginger-garlic paste, 2tsps Chilli powder, 1tsp Garam masala powder, 1 Medium-sized Onion (grated), Salt to taste

Preparation: Cut the chicken into 8-10 pieces. Wash and wipe dry. Rub the lime over the pieces and pierce with a fork to allow the masala to penetrate. Mix the remaining ingredients except cornslour and let the chicken marinate in this mixture, covered for 4-6 hours in the refrigerator. Springle the cornflour over the marinated pieces and deep fry till golden brown. Serve hot with chopped salad and rotis.
